Dr. Matthew Parker is a board-certified medical doctor with a broad background in urgent care, telemedicine, medical aesthetics, functional and family medicine, occupational health, and bioidentical hormone therapy. Since June 2023, he has operated his independent practice remotely from Carthage, Texas, where he also leads Heritage Medicine, an integrated healthcare provider focused on personalized, preventative care. Dr. Parker is a recipient of the Patient’s Choice Award and is committed to delivering compassionate, patient-centered medical services.
Previously, Dr. Parker served as Medical Director at several clinics, including Body Oasis Alabama, where he specialized in aesthetic treatments and hormone therapy, and On Demand Healthcare, focusing on Direct Primary Care and functional medicine. He also has a distinguished military background, having served as a U.S. Marine in operations such as Desert Storm and Restore Hope. Dr. Parker earned his M.D. from UT Health San Antonio and holds a B.S. in Biology from Baylor University. He is licensed in Alabama and certified by the DEA.

Claire Wilcox, MD

Dr. Claire Wilcox is a board-certified psychiatrist and addiction specialist with over 20 years of experience treating mental health and co-occurring conditions, including eating disorders, anxiety, depression, ADHD, and substance use disorders. With dual training in internal medicine and psychiatry, she takes a neuroscience-informed, integrative approach that blends nutrition, behavioral science, and compassionate care. Dr. Wilcox is also a dedicated educator and thought leader, sharing insights through her website WilcoxMD.com and as a contributor to Psychology Today.
She is the author of Food Addiction, Obesity and Disorders of Overeating: An Evidence-Based Assessment and Clinical Guide (2021) and the forthcoming self-help book Rewire Your Food-Addicted Brain (2025), which offers practical tools to address food addiction using brain-based strategies. Dr. Wilcox completed her medical training at the University of Minnesota, followed by residencies at the University of Colorado and UCSF, and a fellowship in Addiction Psychiatry at the University of New Mexico. She holds active medical licenses in multiple states and is board certified in both psychiatry and addiction psychiatry.
