Our Purpose: Connection & Resources

Dedicated to guiding individuals and families through the path to recovery with honest, compassionate information they can trust.

At Help.org, we exist to support individuals and families affected by substance use disorder, providing straightforward, compassionate and reliable information when they need it most. We serve as a comprehensive resource hub for those navigating the path to recovery, connecting people with essential details about treatment options, healthcare providers, program costs, insurance coverage and support services.

Integrity

Every piece of information we publish meets a high standard of accuracy and honesty.

Transparency

We are open about our processes, our sources, and the limits of what we know.

Compassion

We approach every topic with empathy for the people and families living these experiences.

By removing barriers to treatment knowledge, we foster a greater sense of connection, hope and support for those impacted by addiction. We believe that access to clear information is the first step toward confident, informed decision-making, and ultimately, toward healing.

Accredited Healthcare Provider Network

We believe everyone deserves access to high-quality care, including rehab services. That’s why the facilities we feature have all gone through a thorough process designed to verify their quality and commitment to patient outcomes.

Every provider listed in our network is accredited by recognized third-party medical organizations, certified in established healthcare standards and has earned positive reviews from clients. Facilities must have access to certified counselors and licensed staff and deliver a multidisciplinary approach to treatment. They also may have received national awards or accolades.

Breaking Stigma & Barriers to Recovery

Stigma continues to be one of the greatest obstacles standing between people and the help they deserve. Far too many individuals living with substance use disorder encounter shame or judgment, which discourages them from reaching out for treatment or talking honestly about their experiences with relapse and recovery.

Help.org is committed to shifting that reality. Through medically accurate, empathetic and stigma-free content, we work to reframe addiction as the health issue it truly is, one that calls for the same quality of care and compassion as any other medical condition. Reducing stigma is at the heart of what we do to ensure more people feel empowered to take the first step toward healing.

Content Quality

Our team is dedicated to producing content that is trustworthy, accurate and genuinely useful to people affected by substance use. Every article, guide and resource on our site is built on up-to-date, evidence-based information and carefully reviewed by professionals with expertise in addiction treatment, behavioral health and recovery support.

We’re committed to keeping pace with the latest research, emerging treatment methods and evolving trends in the recovery field. From understanding addiction and exploring treatment options to navigating insurance and planning for aftercare, our content covers the full range of topics that matter, offering clarity, practical guidance and a sense of hope to people at every stage of their journey.
